was wondering if I have a shot at Boston college?

Considering Business major but also econ in arts and sciences since the carol school of management is so competitive.

Im from New york
Gpa: 91 out of 100 (3.6)
URM (Hispanic)

Honors Courses: Bio and Global History

AP: I got a 4 on the US history exam

EC:

  • I have done concert band all through High School
    -Three years of Varsity Golf
    -Naitonal Honor Society
    -Foreign Language Honor Society
  • 150-200 Volunteer hours
    -I have had 3 different jobs at three different businesses, and one summer I spent working nearly full time
  • I attended a business bootvamp at a local college this summer

Senior year Courses: AP Government AP Lit Honors Physics, Honors Calculus, Business Law

-SAT 2250 will take again in oft

SAT subject 720 US but taking more in nov

Taking ACT in Sept

You’ve targeted schools correctly as reach, target, and safety. GPA doesn’t seem to jive with your test scores and only 1 AP after junior year is not academic rigor. 720 on the U.S. History test isn’t bad. Your ECs are so so but nice work experience. Being Hispanic will help. Why not consider Babson?

My school does have a handful of AP’s, but there is only 1 available for sophomore year and 2 for junior year. Thanks for the advice, I will look into Babson. I guess I’ll just have to try and have my best gpa my first semester of senior year, get my test scores up, and write a killer essay and get some solid recommendations! Thanks!!!
