SATS 1650 Act 22

-Your SAT and ACT scores are extremely low. BU accepts students who have >2050 on SAT and >30 on ACT (I would take either one or both again and try to score higher)

-Your GPA is also lower than the accepted students’ avg. GPA by about .8-.9

-In addition, the major you are applying to may require SAT Subject Tests

-Your EC’s are ok, but they don’t really stand out. You may need to participate in more school clubs.

Overall, you may have a tough time getting in because of your lower scores and GPA as well as your 3 EC’s. I suggest applying for 2-3 safety schools that have your major.

Hope this helps and good luck applying!

  • Your ACT and SAT scores are really low. My friend who got in last year had 2000 in his SAT. So, try increasing your score around that much.
    • Your ECs are weak as well. So, try doing internships focused around your major.
    • Your GPA is okay-okay. So, I'm not sure how it'll work out.
    • Increase your score and get work a little more for your ECs. Write a good passionate essay and you'll have a good chance. Best of luck!
