Of course not.

Also, w**tf @ your first sentence. I know you meant no harm, but - say you couldn’t get into Brown or weren’t suited to it - why is your default to go to ‘another Ivy better suited to my resume’? The Ivy League, for whatever other connotations its gained over the years, is a sports conference. I’m sick of people acting like it’s some kind of magic academic standard that they have to attain.

“Unweighted GPA: 4.53 out of 4.33”

Wait, what?

hey rock; the answer is yes you could. will you? who knows.
if you desire an ivy league school, from what i know Cornell has the highest acceptance rate, so once again the answer is you could, but who knows if you will.
there are a lot of qualified people. i would jsut try to find schools that best suit your personality, interests (both academic and extracurricular), etc etc etc

I got the Bausch and Lomb award at my school! Do you know that it only applies to Rochester? You should consider applying there, they may give you even more money!

I am a high school senior with a 1350 on my SAT’s, a 3.7/4.0 GPA but with an insane amount of EC activities as well as many leadership positions, i am also African American…what are my chances of getting into an IVY league college

Just because cornell has the highest acceptance rate, doesn’t mean everyone gets in so easily, and it also depends on the program you’re going into.

But yes, you could =]

Ahmedkoraym, do you have on your SAT’s altogether? If so, i’d say your EC’s are good, and you’re GPA is, but i think everything should be well rounded
