<p>First things first, I want to get into engineering. More specifically auto and if I can’t than mechanical. I have a weighted GPA of 3.8571. I don’t really do any other extra curricular activities but maybe later on because I’ve ended only my sophomore year. </p>
<p>I doubt you’d be very competitive at SLO. Depending on your SAT scores, you could get into Mechanical Engineering at Pomona probably with that GPA. I think the average is around that. I don’t think they have automotive engineering.</p>
<p>SLO does not have Auto Engineering. You need to repost after your Junior year and include your CSU GPA/SAT or ACT scores and EC’s before anyone can guess your chances.</p>
<p>Stop speaking as if mechanical engineering is an alternative back up. It is one of the most impacted majors around the world. Next time, state all of your stats including your sat score of I hope at least a 2000.</p>
<p>FYI: SLO does not consider an alternate major either, so you can pick only one type of engineering.</p>
