can i get into cornell! please and thank you!

Hi everyone,
I’m a junior this year and I’m working my butt off to be able to go to any school I choose. Can anybody chance me for Cornell?

My GPA- 3.94 but that hasn’t included anything from junior year yet (I’m doing really well so it will go up)

My courses have always been honors, except for math freshmen year, but sophomore year I doubled up and now I’m caught up. Also my AP’s include
- AP BIO
- APUSH
- AP ENGLISH
- Next year- AP CALC., AP ENGLISH, AP CHEM

I’m not sure how I rank in my class, I go to a private school and they haven’t really told me but ill be sure to find out

Extra curricular- I don’t do too much, I only do the things I enjoy. I’m interested in studying medicine so a lot of my EC’s have to do with that, the others are for fun!

-Volunteer at U of M hospital once a week and summers as well. (I started the summer before junior year because there is an age requirement)
- I am working up at Domino’s headquarters once a week in the human resource department. (I believe that everyone, no matter what field, should have business experience)
- I’m on the tennis team since freshmen year, but I’m not sure if I can do it this year because of all my AP’s
- I am in the health club, creative writing club, and the world language club (which I hope to be president of next year)
- I sent in my NHS forms a few weeks back and will be hearing from them soon
- I want to start volunteering at ST.Joes as well because they allow their volunteers to do more hands on stuff, and also senior year I would like to find a position in maybe a pediatric office? Not sure if they accept teens around here but I am going to try!

Some volunteer that I do consistently every year
- Special Olympics- I volunteer through and on behalf of my school
- Summer programs- I did the WISE program at UofM
- I also did a two week internship at dominos last summer
- This summer coming up I hope to find a research lab to volunteer or intern at

I’m a member of the John Hopkins CTY if that helps, although I have never done any program through them (my parents don’t like to send me away for programs so we keep it local)

Test scores.

So far my ACT is a 28 but I’m retaking it in December to hopefully score in the 30’s

I'm taking the SAT this December as well

I've also scheduled the SAT II’s for math 1 and 2, and English so far

Once my AP tests are done ill take AP BIO AND APUSH because I would have already mastered the material

My background- I am half Italian, half Pakistani if it helps haha

So I’m really working hard to aim for the best here! I’m going to visit the school early next year as well!

If anyone has any insights about the school, college apps, or college in general, please let me know! I’m a first-born child so my family is totally new at this!
Thanks so much!

Once you have SAT and ACT scores, people will be able to chance you better.

bullet1 right no need to worry right now concentrate on academic interests right now
