Hi, I'm a senior in high school in the middle of my application process, and Cornell is probably my top "reach" school. I am posting for advice on whether I have a good chance of getting in or not. I'd like to be an engineer, possibly chemical or biochemical, and from what I've gathered Cornell has one of the better engineering programs out of the Ivies. I'm also taking the SAT's again this Saturday and have done much more prep for it than I did for my first time around, so hopefully I can raise those scores a bit. I also plan on doing the Chem and Math 2 subject tests again now that I'm in AP Chem and have taken AP Calc. I've taken all honors and AP courses, and gotten 5's on all the AP tests I've taken so far (Bio, U.S. history, Calc BC). This year I'm also in AP Chem and AP Physics C.
SAT's: Math-740 CR-640 Writing-640
ACT's: Composite (with writing)-35
GPA: 4.42 on a weighted scale
SAT subject (Bio): 800
SAT subject (Chem): 600
SAT subject (Math 2): 610
Class Rank: 8th out of 235
Extracurriculars: Part of a community service group that goes to New Orleans and also does service projects in my community. About 1000 hours logged over the past 3 years, including time in New Orleans. Also a part of NHS, math team, and varsity hockey and lacrosse.

Can anybody please chance me?
