<p>I am a junior at a competitive all girls school. Im sort of the "typical rich white girl in Los Angeles".</p>
<p>You’re academics are very strong and you definitely have the intelligence to get in. SAT scores look really strong. Although some people might tell you to bring your math score up, I wouldn’t; 720 is a really good score but your verbal and writing scores eclipse your math score (which again, is not a bad thing!) But unfortunately your chances are still very slim because of your ECs. Everyone who applies to Dartmouth is going to have amazing grades as well, so you need to distinguish yourself through extras.
You’re lacking a lot of quantity and depth. I think you should join more clubs that interest you besides theater. Now, this doesn’t mean to crazy with clubs. Just pick the ones you think you’d like and would like to contribute to. Then you must find some things that transcend your school’s offerings - you can find examples of this by floating through the forums on here. AND DONT FORGET: your recs and essay are extremely important in the distinguishing factor as well! Especially for a school like Dartmouth!</p>
