Can I get into either UC Berkeley or UC San Diego?

Reading: 580 :( (My worst)
Writing: 650</p>

<p>I have a 4.0 gpa and Im going to take AP Chemistry and AP Gov/Eco next year. (I'm a junior). </p>

<p>I play baseball all the time, for my whole life, but don't really participate in many other extracurriculars.
Do colleges want to see that you are devoted to one thing your whole life, or see that you just got down as many clubs and activities as possible?</p>

<p>Also recommend some good schools for Chemistry/Biology. </p>

<p>Keep the grades up and maybe UCSD - but apply more broadly to be safe. Take the ACT, it is a very different test.</p>

<p>Baseball is a fine EC - you could coach a little league team or teach a kid class via local park and rec to show some give back/leadership.</p>
