I took AP Physics and got an A in the class but I wasn’t prepared for the SAT and got a 580. I will be submitting a 760 in Math II. Given that SAT II’s are strongly suggested for engineering students (I’m doing computer science) will I still have a chance?
It depends on the strength of the rest of your application.
Subject percentile ranking: http://www.collegeboard.com/prod_downloads/highered/ra/sat/SAT_subject_tests_percentile_ranks.pdf
Although SEAS recommends taking the Physics subject test, many admitted students take the test for Chemistry (+Bio if applicable to their intended major) and then take AP Physics C (mechanics and E&M) their senior year.
Can you? Yes. Will you? With a 90% rejection rate, I would assume that the balance of your application would need to be vastly superior to other applicants
