Can i get into FIU with my scores / gpa ?

<p>Hello I know this is not the right place to submit this but I do not know how to form a new post ( first time ) But I was wondering if I can get into FIU with the following gpa / test scores. ( I contacted the local FIU Recruiter in my area and she told me they would not be able to offer me admission due to low math scores ) and that I can not be offer a remedial math class as according to her they do not offer it. I personally don't believe her that FIU does not have remedial classes but that is just me. So here are my scores / gpa</p>

Class Ranking: 136 out of 443<br>
Cumulative GPA: 2.9388
Academic Core GPA: 3.3167
Weighted Cumul. GPA: 3.4082 </p>

<p>SAT (Highest Scores) Total: 1420
CRITICAL READING: 560<br>
MATH: 430<br>
WRITING: 430<br>
ACT (Highest Composite Scores) Composite: 22
ENGLISH: 21
MATH: 17
READING: 24
SCIENCE REASONING: 26 </p>

<p>I will be taking the ACT / SAT again in hopes to get a higher math score ( January and March respectively)</p>

<p>Ouch. They are too low for FIU. I am not aware of them offering remedial classes either. Your math scores are just too low. Good luck!</p>

<p>Why don’t you try posting in the FIU forum under the Colleges tab? They might be able to help you more and provide you with more info.</p>
