University of Miami-
University of Florida-
Florida State-
University of Georgia-
Georgia Tech-
Clemson-

I was already accepted to my safety school, University of Alabama :I

University of Miami- Match
University of Florida- High Reach
Florida State- Match
University of Georgia- High Reach
Georgia Tech- High Match, Low Reach
Clemson-High Match, Low Reach

Unless you are instate, it is very hard to into UF or Georgia unless you are one of the top out of state applicants.

To be honest, I'm a Florida resident and have done a LOT of research on Florida schools. Believe it or not, University of Miami is tougher to get into than UF, although maybe not for out-of state. However, all things considered...

University of Miami- high match, low reach
University of Florida- high match, possible low reach
Florida State- should be in, probably a safety
University of Georgia- reach
Georgia Tech- reach
Clemson-low reach

No, you don't have to be a harvard type of applicant. Harvard doesn't have a 40% acceptance rate with an SAT range of 1140-1360 lol. You still want to send in a strong application because it will harder for you since you're out of state, but it's not a huge reach for you or anything.

Georgia Tech and Clemson are a slight reach, but I'd say that you have a really good shot at everywhere else. The U of Miami is easy to get into..their acceptance rates are very high...I hope that would apply to you to b/c you're OSS.

You're SAT scores are a bit weak but overall you're a solid student. I'm an instate student for Florida so I may be biased but:
University of Miami- Might be harder because you're out of state but you can call it a "high match", my gov't teacher likes to say all you need to get into UM is a check (but then again she's a gators fan...lol)
University of Florida- It is getting harder to get in so also a "high match"
Florida State- I've heard it's a party school so "safety"
University of Georgia- Dont' know much about this school, sorry.
Georgia Tech- This may be a "reach" because your math score severly outshines the rest.
Clemson- Dont know much about this school can't say.

Maine is gonna hurt you for florida state schools. UF is almost all in staters..

University of Miami- reach
University of Florida- semi high reach
Florida State- match
University of Georgia- semi high reach
Georgia Tech- high match
Clemson- matchish
