Hi,

So I am going to be a high school senior. My GPA is a 3.8 weighted and 3.7 unweighted. I participate in two sports--gymnatics and fencing. I also take part in several clubs and extracurriculars. I am also a member of the National Honor Society. I have taken AP and Honors courses, but my standardized test scores are very low (1120 math and reading combined) and 24 ACT. I am just wondering if there is any chance of getting accepted into Fordham University or not?

Thanks

Get your SAT score in the 1900s - 2000s and I think you’d have a good shot.

your gpa is very good, as long as you took a challenging course load. but as the previous poster said your sat scores need to come up at least to the 1900s and you should be fine. maybe i’ll see you there in 2012 i’m also considering fordham!http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1171279-chance-bu-college-communications-will-chance-back-leave-link.html
^but i didnt mention it in this thread if you are confused haha

Definitely get your standardized testing scores up. I didn’t have an amazing GPA (3.6) but I had a 1930 on the SAT and a 31 on the ACT which I think made the difference. I was also a National Achievement Scholarship finalist from the PSAT which got me a full scholarship, so I feel like Fordham puts a lot of emphasis on testing.

It depends on the school you go to. If it is a feeder school for Fordham, you will get in
