In the winter I volunteer every thursday for 2 hours playing with special needs kids, and helping them swim. I run track every season for my school as well. My very successful family friend is an alumni of Fordham and he said he would write a letter for me, he also gives alot of money to the school every year. What are my chances of getting into Fordham and what can i do to increase them.

Your chances sound pretty good. Just try to get your GPA up a little higher and shoot for 2000+ on SATs and you’ve got a good likelihood of getting in.

Fordham: Aim for 28+/1950+
