<p>You posted this in another thread, and the responses were similar to this one, no matter how many chance threads you post, your chance will not increase.</p>
<p>Okay well you don’t decide the likeliness of my chances, Extemp. I was just putting up what my stats will be when I actually apply, versus what they are now.</p>
<p>Don’t count your eggs before they are hatched. You can’t assume your scores/GPA will be X amount higher than they are now. And get that children’s book published, <em>then</em> come back and ask us to chance you. ;)</p>
<p>That goes for applying to Harvard Law as well. Get into a good college, do well, have an outstanding GPA and leadership record, <em>then</em> worry about applying to law school!</p>
<p>And you ask how to earn awards for your talents? </p>
<p>Enter a tennis tournament–and win.
Enter the Junior Scholastic writing competition.<br>
Enter local essay-writing or art competitions. (Women’s Club? VFW patriotism essay?)
Do the MMEA (Michigan Music Educator’s Association) competition when it occurrs. You do still play saxophone, right? Or did you quit band? Note: there are no saxes in Youth Symphony.</p>
<p>My point is, be on the lookout for opportunities in what you do best.</p>
