Can i get into Johns Hopkins if apply ED?

I am a Female Hispanic (born in Colombia but moved to Miami at 1 year old) I am part of a full time dual enrollment program called AAA at Florida International University for my 11-12 year. I take 4 highschool classes (2 APs junior year & 5 AP’s senior year) while taking 7 college classes every school year at the same time. My unweighted GPA is a 3.37 & my weighted is 4.41. Both are expected to be much higher starting senior year.

What are my chances to enter Johns Hopkins if i choose to apply Early Decision?

JHU i would say it’s a reach given ED. Just write really strong essays and you’ll have as much as a shot as anyone else! Chance back?: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1786803-chance-me-for-upenn-m-t-ut-and-others-chance-back.html#latest

Bump

Higher GPA and ACT will greatly improve your chance.

Reach

I have to say that JHU is a reach for you with your current stats.

Reach only because of your unweighted GPA and test scores. When you say the GPA is going to be much higher, do you mean your junior year grades are not factored in yet or do you mean that you think you’ll do well this next semester of senior year?

If it’s the former, just post a chance thread with your up to date GPA. If it’s the latter, I suggest you lighten your courseload to something more manageable. 7 College Classes is an insanely rigorous schedule, and maybe taking 2-3 less of those will make your life much easier (and you’ll get better grades too).

What did you get on your ACT for each sitting? I don’t think JHU superscores ACT, only SAT I think.
