<p>Decent amount of leadership positions and extracurriculars.</p>

<p>Why wouldn’t you want to strive for u of michigan ? (assuming you live in MI) </p>

<p>Well I’m from New Jersey and my whole family went to Penn State and they’d lynch me if I went to U Michigan </p>

<p>If you want engineering, and Big 10, and not UM- look into Illinois, Purdue and Northwestern. </p>
