<p>Most state universities admit in-state students based on grades and test scores alone (assuming you’re not a recruited athlete.) Maybe it is different for Mich. St. I have no idea. </p>
<p>From the bolded parts below, it looks like your GPA is on the low end, but your ACT is about 3 points away from the average. If Mich. State looks at weighted gpa’s and if you took hard classes, then this may help.</p>
<p>My advice is to work hard fall semester and try to raise your ACT score a few points. Right now you are in the bottom quarter of admitted people for the ACT and the bottom 13% for GPA.<br>
