Probably not, your ACT is way too low for Michigan and isn’t Michigan rolling? Anyway I suggest you get your ACT to around a 30+ to be competitive but good luck nonetheless!

How much is the ACT weighted? Would they take into consideration my essays, extra curricular, and GPA?

Trust me everything else you have is fine it’s just that your ACT is way too low. If you got your ACT to a 30+ I would be surprised if you didn’t get it. I suggest you don’t apply ED and start prepping for the ACT and then apply for regular decision or something(although i think UM is rolling). Your ACT is not just low for Michigan but also for a lot of schools.

Good luck!

I agree with coola426. My son will be applying to Michigan and the school counselor told him to retake his ACT at 28 which is still low for this school.

Also, should I early apply to Michigan or another school? Michigan’s early deadline is 11/1 leaving no time to get in a new ACT score. Thoughts?

Applying to
Ohio State
Wisconsin
Michigan
Wake Forest
USC
Creighton
University of Washington
Any of those instead of Michigan for ED?
