Your extracurricular activities and your achievements are outstanding. Your GPA is below the average of U-M students though. The average is from a 3.7-3.9. I’d say regardless of that you have a decent shot at getting into Michigan. Your SAT score is average for Michigan students. The middle 50% have between a 1920-2180. I’d say apply and apply early. Your course load is also very rigorous and it seems that you have spent an ample amount of time outside of school doing other activities. The earlier you apply the better chance you have in getting accepted.

You have a solid chance at admission. When you say International IB School, do you mean International Academy? If so, I would say you have a great chance of getting in, but if you mean that you are an international student, apply early and spend time on your essays because the competition for international students applying to Michigan is tough.

International Academy doesn’t have branches in India, that would be cool tho…they might have an exchange program…

I would say a low match since I know people (from IA) who were accepted at that level (I was one of them… slightly better standardized score and a UMich GPA of 3.5-3.6) and people who were denied. Your biggest advantage is the extracurriculars since they are very nice compared to most UMich applicants from IA. Your extracurriculars would provide ample material for essays and recommendations, which are pretty important in their decision-making. However, your GPA and SAT is a bit low for an out-of-country student, but I think the IB program would slightly counter that.

I would say reach. Getting admitted as an international student is pretty difficult and you will be competing with a lot of competitive applications for only a limited amount of spots. That said, your gpa and SAT will probably be on the lower side of the pool of international applicants.
