<p>In a class of 28 kids, it is not that impressive to be in the top 10% (unless your h.s. is Deep Springs-esque). Your ACT is great but your SAT IIs are nothing special and your ECs are fairly average (no real research or summer programs).
That being said, you still stand a good chance at Middlebury, a chance I would rate as a Slight Reach.</p>
<p>I think you have a pretty good shot even in the world of unpredictable college admissions. I'd also say you're ECs are not weak like some have said. They are merely competitive, but fairly average ECs. People on here mostly aren't athletes so they see athletics and think of them as a lesser EC than something like reasearsh or expensive academic summer programs. This is not true so I'd pay no attention to anyone who says competive free-style skiing at the jr. olympics is a weak EC.</p>
