I am a sophomore and extremely interested in MIT or one of the Ivys.
I go to one of the best math&sci high schools in NYC and I have a 4.0 GPA. I am taking all honors classes as well as AP World History, and next year is AP Bio, U.S, and English. I plan to have four years on the fencing team, maybe varsity, and am involved in Computer Club, Key Club, and Support the Troops. I am also on my school's Fed Challenge Team.
I would really appreciate it if someone could give input and tell me where I stand.

It is very hard to chance a sophomore. When you are a junior and have taken the SAT/ACT, then we will be able to say.

With the amount of information that you’ve given us, I’d say you don’t really have a chance. It’ll be easier for us to tell after you’re a junior and have gotten SAT/ACT scores and developed more in your ECs (leadership, accomplishments, etc.)

Keep it up. It looks like you are heading that way :)
