Can I get into MIT?

Okay I'm going to be a junior next year and want to know if I am on the right track. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA so far. I took two APs in 10th grade- Bio and Gov and got 5's on both. I also took the bio sat subject test and got a 730 on it. Next year, I am taking 4 aps- chem, calc ab, economics (macro and micro), and english language. I am taking a foreign language- spanish. I also like to play sports but am not on any school teams. I play piano and clarinet and am pretty good at both. I am involved in a few clubs- chess, ping pong (president of this at my school), national honor society. im thinking of doing debate next year. I am prepping for SAT and think that I'll get around 2100 or higher on it. I am trying to go for a medical degree but want to under-grad at MIT.

Oh and I'm also thinking of doing an internship in the medical field next year (i have a connection). I'm also taking a medical experience class in my junior and senior year which gives hands on experience in the medical field.

do i have a good chance of getting in?

Well, very few people have a “good” chance of getting in, its a reach for everyone. But you are on the right track.

MIT = 2350 SAT, 2350 - 2400 SAT2s, 35/36 ACT, 1/2 rank, isef, siemens national award. aim for those. good luck
