I have a 3.3 w gpa (hopefully will be a little higher by the end of the year) and I have a 24 act. I have to take the act on Wednesday because I go to a high school in Illinois and I'm hoping that my score can go up to a least a 26. I have a few extra-curricular activities but I'm primarily involved in Japanese club. I'm president this year and I also was a Japanese honor society member this year. This year I'm also doing an independent study with my Japanese teacher as I have taken the highest level of Japanese offered in my high school. Next year I'm also planning to do student teaching with my Japanese and English teacher. I hope that I will stand out a little bit amongst the other applicants. Earlier this year I saw a copy of my transcript and my class ranking was 32%. I hope that by the end of the year I go a little bit higher.

I checked the mizzou website and it said that in order to be admitted to mizzou I needed to have at least an act score of 24, which I have. However, I was just wondering if there's a high chance of me being accepted.

Sorry this is long, thank you to anyone in advance if you reply!

Mizzou accepts you automatically if your SAT or ACT score is over a certain number. If it’s lower than that, there’s a certain GPA you have to have in relation to your lower test score. I’m pretty sure that you will get in.

Okay, thank you! :)

Ok so think of it this way. I got admitted to Mizzou right away with a 1.9gpa and a 24 on my act. Mizzou is extreamly ACT oriented so if you have a 23+ you should be perfectly fine. (24 is automatic admission)
-Good Luck :D

Is this true? Lets say i get a 24 or higher is it an automatic admission, or is it the minimum to be considered? Please Answer…

Thanks, so basically if I completed the required curriculum and receive a 24 or higher on the ACT will i get an admission?

Yes, you will be admitted to University but you should also research reqs for directl admittance to a school of your interest ( J-school, Nursing, Business, etc…) It can be very hard to get there later… I know a girl who applied to Nursing school after her second year being all semesters on Dean list and she couldn’t get in there,; so now she is taking some GE classes and will continue applying again basically wasting her time and money…
