My weighted gpa is 4.1, my unweighted gpa is 3.2, my class rank is 113/366, my act is 25 but I’ll try to get at least a 28.
I got involve in science Olympiad and win a couple medals, book club, computer club, and tennis team at school. I don’t really have that much community service hour.
I have a couple of hardship that prevent me from doing more than this. I have to babysit my little sister everyday after school so I can’t really spend that much time with either community service or more clubs. I’m kind of new to this country, I have only live in America for 3 years.I immigrate from Asia so I’m a total newbie to this country educational system when I come. I don’t know anything at all about college and how to prepare for it. I start high school immediately as a freshman when I arrive in America. To say the least, I have miss a lot of opportunity and I have try to make it up as much as possible in the amount of time that I have. I was not fully aware of college preparation until my junior year so I’m kind of have even less time to prepare my self for college. By the time I know how things work around here, college app and other things hit me like a rock in the face and make me realize that I’m not fully prepare to apply to college of my choice. I just hope that my effort in the past 3 years is enough to get me into a good college.
Thank you for taking time to read my post, I know it is long.
Yeah, I’d say that your chances of getting admitted are pretty good. Good luck!
