Can I get into NYU Steinhardt - Studio Art?

<p>I have a very large and awesome art portfolio, filled with all of my toy designs, paintings etc. I have taken around 10 AP/honors classes throughout high school. I have over 350 hours of community service and about 4-5 leadership positions.</p>

<p>My gpa is 3.6 unweighted, 3.98 weighted (will be higher this semester, around 4.1) and my test scores are mega low, a 26 on the act (though I am dyslexic, if that is any consolation).</p>

<p>I applied binding Early Descision.</p>

<p>I have a letter of req from a professor there and my sister did her undergrad there.</p>

<p>Please tell me what you think! It's my dream school.</p>

<p>I don’t know about NYU in particular, but a lot of times, arts school are very subjective with admissions based on portfolios. So not having seen your portfolio, we can only offer so much insight. But I wish you good luck regardless!</p>
