With these marks, would I be accepted into NYU? If you have advice, please help me!

did you take geometry

@savedtatwhim I did take geometry over the summer and passed in order to skip a math. Would that be a problem in the application process?

Skipping geometry is not an issue. I didn’t take Algebra 2 and I still got in. What’s your intended major? Getting into the business school (Steinhardt) or the arts/writing school (Tisch) is much more difficult than getting into the school of Arts and Sciences. And yeah, you would need a higher SAT score (minimum 1900)

I plan on majoring in the sciences for pre-med. I am mostly reaching for the school of Arts and Sciences. I am currently taking a prep class so hopefully it will go up! @Violet1996‌ Are you currently attending or planning on it?

@aeji123‌ Thinking about it. I’m a senior in high school =)

@violet1996 that’s awesome! were you surprised or did you think you fit into NYU?

@aeji123 I wasn’t too surprised (my GC told me it was a match before I retook the SAT). When I visited the school in October, I fell in love with it because being in the heart of the city is so exciting, and it has really come a long way with it’s science programs. BTW, feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions (about stats, ECs, whatever). =)
