Can i get into ole miss?

I applied to ole miss with a GPA of 2.0/4.0 and an ACT score of 17. i know that is low but heard it was easy to get in. does anyone know if i still will be accepted? i have a lot of extra curricular activities.

Check their admissions website for admission requirements .

I would suggest that you head over to the college chances forum and look at a few examples of posts there (add some more details!) and then post your final thread in that forum. Good luck!

So for a gpa of 2.0 and act of 17 you may be just shy. With that gpa they require a score of 18. Are you taking it again. Also your classes in high school needs to meet their college prep list. You can find this all under Admissions, then click on apply. Are you in the top 50% of your class?

According to this page:

[Office of Admissions | Applying to Ole Miss ? Freshmen](http://admissions.olemiss.edu/applying-to-ole-miss/freshmen/)

You need a 2.0 and 18 ACT for in-state admission, a 2.5 and a 20 for “regular admission” from out of state. But “Non-resident applicants who do not meet the above criteria are still encouraged to apply and will have the opportunity to provide additional information to support their applications.”

If you’re in-state, try taking the ACT again and study real hard. You only need one more point.

If you’re out of state, I guess still apply but probably scout out some other possibilities. If you’d be full-pay honestly that might help.
