Hi guys im kinda new to this but im really nervous about whether I can get into Pitt or not. I am currently beginning my sophmore year in high school right now; my freshman year didnt go so well, I got a 3.6 qpa at the end of year. But I was and currently am a part of the chess team, debate team, and the National Junior Honors Society as my extra cirriculars. I desperately want to become a doctor and Pitt is my first choice for undergraduate school-obviously I want to go to main campus haha. I havent really taken that many honors courses so far but I plan to take a lot of APs next year and get As in them. So basically I was wondering what I would have to do to even have a remote chance of getting into Pitt judging by where I stand now..

Can someone please respond!

Standardized test scores? EC’s? Also are you instate?

I am instate and my ecs are debate team, chess, key club, and the National Juniour Honor Society

Well I am a sophmore in high school so I havent taken any tests like the SAT or the ACT so far but I plan to take them during the end of the year. As far as my ecs go this year I am doing chess team, National Junior Honors Society, debate team, UPMC volunteering. Next year I plan to do all of those things plus water polo and key club…

Can you guys just please give me a straight foward and non sarcastic answer because I am really freakng out about this

Everyone keeps telling me that and I dont mean to come off as rude but can you please like tell me how hard it is to get into pitt undergrad if i want to do a science major there because I desperately want to become a doctor…
