Can I get into Pitt?

Hello there, im going to try to be as brief as I possibly can. I am currently a beginning SOPHMORE in high school and I DESPERATELY want to become a doctor. I asked multiple people and still havent gotten a clear response. I did really bad freshman year and ended up with a 3.6 qpa (I almost cried when I saw the report). I was also really nervous because I want to be admitted into Pitt main campus for undergrad as I will go there for free. To be honest I havent really taken that many honors courses thus far but I plan to take all APs and honors in juniour and senior year.

MY ECS ARE
-debate
-National Juniour Honors Society
-chess club
-key club (will be doing in the future)
-Water polo (will be doing that in the future)

Basically I am wondering what I have to do these next three years to have a chance at going to Pitt for a science major so I can become a doctor....please respond quick so I can have some reassurance....

ECs are just fine for Pitt; you could get in with a 3.6 GPA but you’d need to score about 1850+ on the SAT or 26+ on the ACT.

As long as you have a decent SAT (>1800), you should be fine. Pitt has a guaranteed med school program- that would be more competitive.

The BS/MD program is beyond competitive, I looked into applying and I am under-qualified (3.9 GPA (unweighted) and planning to get a 30 on the ACT). As for regular Pitt you are fine.
