Can I Get Into Pomona?

Okay, I’m a rising senior at a small, rural school in the south. I’m ranked second in my class of 110.
GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 4.9 weighted. I’ve taken the most challenging classes at my school and have only made one 97; the rest are above.
The only AP class that has so far been offered to me was APUSH my sophomore year. I made a 5.
SAT (new): 1490 and 1530. My subject tests are Lit: 710 Math 2: 780 and Biology E: 770 (93rd percentile)
I started the Earth club at my school last year and I am going to start recycling program this year.
I do debate, and went to state last year.
I also play flute, and have gotten first division ratings and advanced to region( 5 times), area (2), and state (1)
I do a few other things, like theatre and academic competitions, but no major accomplishments in them. I’m a member of the National Honors Society, but not an officer.
I’ve volunteered at the community garden, the national park near me, for Citizen’s Climate Lobby, a children’s museum, and a library.
I also write for a scientific magazine and focus my articles on environmentalism.
I’ve done a ton of summer enrichment. I’ve taken classes over the summer through the Duke Talent Identification Program since 7th grade. I also did Brown’s Environmental Leadership camp this summer and went to Debate camp last summer.
I’m a QuestBridge Prep Scholar and plan to apply to Pomona through the National College Match.
What are my chances of getting into Pomona?

You may get more responses if you re-post this in both the Chance Me and Questbridge forums. I am a Pomona parent and no expert, but I think you should have a good chance: great GPA, good test scores and EC’s, geographically desirable (officially that’s not a factor but I think it has to help to be from a small, rural school in the south). Good luck!

I try not to chance (especially for a “reach for everyone” school like Pomona), but if you are serious about continuing flute the music faculty does pre-app evaluations - but you need to hurry: https://www.pomona.edu/academics/departments/music/prospective-students

I think you have a great chance for Pomona(or any other highly selective school) . You are a great student, with interesting extracurriculars with depth of participation , and great standardized testing. However that being said they are no definites in the college admission process so apply to lots of schools to increase your chances. I don’t know much about questbridge but assume that you come from an underserved admission population(are a minority or first generation that will also help in the admission process) You will not be hindered by only taking one AP course as you are only evaluated based on what your school offers. If they only had one AP course and you took it than you signed up for the most rigorous curriculum they offered.
Are you eligible to apply for Pomona’s fly in program that I believe if you are a questbridge scholar you might also be eligible for their fly-ins? If you are you should hurry apps due soon.
