My sister is a freshman at Princeton and i am a sophomore in high school. i have a 3.7 GPA and i will be taking AP history next year. I am not sure about the college i want to attend. O yea and i do track and band. Do i have a good chance of getting into Princeton?

Absolutely. I’m surprised they haven’t already made you an offer yet.

lol HYPSMIT…

So the fact that your sister currently attends Princeton will definitely help you. But it’s important that you’re also a competitive candidate. A 3.7 GPA is good, but use your next two years of high school to try to increase you GPA as much as possible. Find ways to be unique and to stand out from other applicants. Get good scores on your SATs or ACT. Basically, enjoy high school and do things you’re passionate about. And then in a couple years, come back to CollegeConfidential, tell us what you’ve accomplished, and we can give you a better analysis.
