I have a 84 gpa, and 1890 SAT score(CR:580 M:630 W:670). They tell me list up to 5 community services... My volunteer services include a nursing home, pharmacy, day care center, a middle school helping teachers, and a doctors office(HIP). I listed up to 4 awards/ recognitions they told me to out of 5. The limit of 5 clubs/activities they told me to list... I was in model u.n., debate team, yearbook committe, msa( a club), and a us history seminar which led me to participate in a regional competition for national history day in New York. I'm a New York resident, and if I write a great essay, will i have shot at Rutgers-NB?

I would really appreciate any responses…please

Yes. Easy.

Any more responses???

bump…

Your SAT is definitely good enough and your gpa should be fine. Rutgers is more of a numbers school so your ecs and other stuff wont matter as much. i think you should be admitted as long as your not applying to the pharm school.

Yea, what school are you applying to? You should be solid for everything except Ernest Mario and the Business school

School of Arts and Sciences

gpas actually 83.95 btw

I am also applying to the biology school second while school of arts and sciences as first. Newark school of arts and sciences as third as well. But I just only really care about getting into NB.

how are my chances at binghamton as well?

bump…

For a State University, those stats will probably be fine. Though, without knowing their freshman profile, it’s hard to predict.
