Can I get into Rutgers?

Hey guys I am new here and I have been waiting to get into college and it is completely nerve racking

I just wanted to know if I can get into Rutgers New Brunswick with the following stats.
For Business, Engineering, Arts and Sciences

In State
Unweighted: 2.53
Weighted GPA: 2.84
SAT 2130 CR: 750 Math 730 Writing 650
SAT II Math 660
Highly Ranked High School

Extra Curricular:
3 year High School Varsity Swimming Team
1 year High School Junior Varsity Swimming Team
4 year Swimming Club Team
Most Improved Swimmer Award
Completion of New Jersey Half-Marathon Timing 1 hour 45 minutes
2 year Red Cross Club Member
Part Time Cashier/Clerk at CVS Pharmacy (21 hours per week)
Vice President of Student Run Engineering Club

Very Rigorous Scheduled

5 AP Classes

All 3s and 4s on the exams

I know my GPA and SAT are kinda lopsided So I don’t really know how that’s going to effect my chances
Also I applied in November and all of my friends heard back in a week and its been 2 months and I still have nothing

Please Leave your input and don’t hold back in your opinion. Thanks

Pretty sure you will not get into Rutgers Engineering, idk about the others. That GPA is too low, the SAT even though good, will not help. The 660 SAT Math 2 does not do you any good, as you should get a 730+ for that test to be considered competitive. I recommend taking that test again if you can, and score a 730+, use the Barron’s math 2 book. First time I took Math 2, i got a 640. Took it again using Barrons book for prep and got 790.

Your GPA and SAT Math II score probably will not get you into Rutgers Engineering.

Despite your high SAT score, I would say Rutgers overall is a high match-low reach.

Can you explain the low GPA? Was there a specific reason?

Thanks for the input but yea in my essay I do explain that my grades my first two years were extremely low because of health issues. Also I knew Engineering was a reach for me but what about Business? That was the school I mainly wanted to get into. Also Im not so great with the terminology, What does high match-low reach mean?

High match is like a match school but it’s a little harder to get into.

Low reach is like a reach school but not AS difficult to get into.

You might be able to make it work in Business.

Could you apply to a less popular major and change it later? Maybe that’s how you can get in.
