CSU GPA : 3.7
ACT : 23 (but I’m planning to retake it on October 28)
SJSU admits by eligibility and major. You need to convert your ACT score to the New SAT score.
Then you need to calculate you modified EI:
- To calculcate the COE impaction index, you will need to calculate a total SAT score (math and EBRW) in the following way:
a. For SAT scores from a test date after March 1, 2016:
[(SAT Math * 3) + (EBRW)]/2 = COE total SAT score
[SAT Score Total + (GPA * 800)] = COE impaction index
Here is the EI thresholds for last year. For SE, you needed an EI of 3900 (SAT based) for an acceptance.
when will the EI threshold for this year come out
The new EI threshold will come out after the Fall 2018 applicants have been admitted so basically after you apply. The EI’s will be based on each new in-coming Freshman Class and fluctuate from year to year. If you are close the EI threshold from last year, then it is worth an application.
Thanks
