Are you the robo guy, with that whisper speaking and all that. Well, if you are what i think you are then you can get selected into many ivy league universities. Cannot say anything about getting into stanford though, because it demands more EC’s than any ivy. And you can try to patent your research you did at gsf, through mit patent website, it will be a mega boost for your ec.

‘Stanford has a limited amount of financial aid for international students.’
That means not all needy students who would apply will get handsome financial aid, if said in pure words. Nevertheless no international student will get 100% financial aid as the author of this thread demands.

@kingfernandus
I found a perfect scholarship for you.
‘CISAC international fellowship at stanford university’

Stanford is hard to get into anyway. I don’t think with your other scores, your SAT I score will break you.

For post #20 - “try to patent”? Like that happens instantaneously? Patenting anything is a multi-year process involving lawyers.

@rhandco what did you mean by ‘break you’

“break you” as in “make you or break you”.

That is, the straw that broke the camel’s back, the one thing that would prevent you from getting into Stanford.

Rewriting a bit:

I do not think that your SAT I score is low enough for the Stanford adcom to ignore the rest of your application, your other statistics are strong. So, I think you have as good a chance as someone with a higher SAT I and not as good GPA, awards, and honors.

Since , kingfernandus is most probably going to apply next year early decision , so he can apply for the patent now, it takes about 2years(average) for an invention to be patented in india, so in his common app he can state his invention and also state that the patent is under its way for completion, that will make him look far better, and also he will recieve his patent for his genuine invention, that he can use for start up during college years.
And all this patent talk was done between mit blogger chris and a gulf student on mit admission blog, where chris told the student that his profile would be more considered if he apply for a patent or holds a patent on his genuine invention.

What was your invention or project @kingfernandus

@hellwattodo Stanford meets 100% of the demonstrated needs. Stanford is need-aware though. Because they have limited funds for international students, the amount you can pay will factor in their decision to accept you.
