Can i get into stetson university?

I have a weighted GPA of 3.1 and unweighted GPA of 3.4 but I have a score of 17 in the ACT. But they say stetson university doesn’t required test scores. Can I get in?

If you got a 17 on the ACT I would probably suggest going to a community college or no college at all. I am going to stetson in the fall ( it being a back up school) and I got a 29 on my ACT. It will probably be to fast paced for you.

From Stetson website:
Acceptance rate: 61%
SAT average: 1174 (Math and Reading)
Academic GPA: 3.79

I think Stetson will want to see test scores. GPA is probably the most important factor in student selection for them but test scores are important as well. Colleges need someway to measure the college readiness of their students in some uniform fashion and standardized test scores is their best way to do this.

Your GPA maybe on the low end for admission, but it may still be doable. However, any ACT below a 19 is like a red flag for admission. 19 is the min. score to be considered college ready.

Maybe retake the ACT as well as the SAT and see how you do. Good luck.
