Can I get into Texas A&M????????????

SAT: MATH-690, CR-570, WRITING-570

Critical Reading 570 72%
Math 690 92%
Writing 570 75%
Multiple Choice 57 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 8 (score range: 2-12)

Class rank : 149 out of 784
~19%
Recognized public school, pretty competitive, in a suburb north of Dallas TX.

Unweighted GPA ~ 3.1
Weighted GPA ~ 3.8

AP classes I've taken or am taking
10th grade - AP World History (93 average)
Now - AP AB Calculus (current 77 average)
Now - AP Physics B (current 91 average)

I have taken mainly honors and AP classes so that explains a little why my GPA is kind of low. I also slacked off and didn't care much for school as a freshman but since sophmore year I've been able to balance school and having fun.
My GPA for Junior year was a lot better than freshman year and a little better than sophmore year and I've heard colleges like improvements even if you mess up your first year.

Due to failing to get at least 1300 M+CR combined, and having less than 600 on CR, you won’t qualify as an academic “admit.” You will have to hope that your essays + recommendations (if any) carried the day for you.

From A&M website:

Applicants qualify for automatic academic admission, if:

they are ranked in the top quarter of their graduating class, and
achieve a combined SAT Math and SAT Critical Reading score of at least 1300 with a test score of at least 600 in each of these components; or achieve a composite ACT score of at least 30 with a test score of at least 27 in ACT Math and ACT English. Students must take the writing component of the SAT and/or ACT in order for the test score to be considered, and
have successfully taken all recommended coursework, and
meet the State of Texas Uniform Admission Policy, and
ensure all required credentials are received by the freshman closing date.
