I want to get in a top ten law school from usc and currently hold a 3.85 in the usc business school where average gpa is 3.0 (not like these ivies where everyone in the class gets an A). Figure in a 170+ LSAT im assuming what law schools am I lookin at?

If you assume an LSAT that will get you into the top ten law schools, you can get into a top ten law school.

ok sounds good, I figure with my grades/test taking abilities a 170 seems perfectly reasonable.

I wouldn't be so sure before taking a practice LSAT and getting some hard numbers. The LSAT is much harder than people realize.

Not a safe assumption, by any means (I have the personal experience to back that warning up), although clearly there are worse places from which to be starting. Be prepared to study for the test, though, and meanwhile, don't stake anything on a high score until you have one in hand.

Best of luck.

" ...not like these ivies where everyone in the class gets an A..."
Perhaps most of them get A, because they are better students? Median LSAT of Ivy students is 163.
