Can I get into these florida schools?

<p>Hey guys, Im about to apply for these colleges, and I just wanted to know If I had a shot at getting in, and please be honest.</p>

<p>Classes from 9th-11th:</p>

<p>9th Grade:
Biology Honors
Ancient world history honors
Math Std. Level
French one honors
French two honors
P.E
Graphic Design
English One
Creative Writing</p>

<p>10th Grade:
Latin one honors
Chemistry honors
World History Honors
Math Std. Level
Graphic Design
P.E
English two honors</p>

<p>11th Grade:
Latin two
IB Biology SL
IB Psychology HL
IB Math Sl Studies
IB English SL
U.S History (H)
Forensic science
Lifestyle fitness
Sports Medicine</p>

<p>Extra curriculars/clubs/sports:
Played the clairanet, plays the piano currently
I have a job at Panera bread
9th and 10grade i was on my high school basketball team
9th grade I was on my swim team
9th grade pre med club
10th grade graphic design club
11th grade: treasurer of chess club, and one of the heads for the gaming club.</p>

<p>Community service: 203 hours currently (more soon), 91 at hospital, 50 for good will, 42 for band, 20 for day care</p>

<p>Unweighted gpa: 3.4 (I know its not great, but I did get better each and every year)
Weighted gpa: 3.65
SAT Score: 1910, Writing: 670, Math: 640, Reading: 600 </p>

<p>So what do you guys think? (FLORIDA SCHOOLS)

FSU

<p>BTW, primarily FSU AND UCF are my main choices </p>

<p>You may have some trouble getting into FSU and UM but based just off of your SAT score you should be able to get into UCF and UF </p>

<p>Really? I felt like based of my sat score alone i should be able to get into ucf and fsu but have trouble getting into um and uf since those two are the toughest schools to get into in florida. UCF and FSU are easier based on my stats/extra curriculars etc…</p>

<p>Jilidiak just gave you terrible advice. UF and the state schools care a lot less about test scores than GPA. If FSU and UCF are your top choice. My advice? Break 3.5 unweighted this semester and you should be golden! Good luck!</p>

<p>Oh but the thing is that im applying for early decision so the november first and october 15 for fsu so I sadly have no chance to improve my gpa. The reason main reason my gpa is low is because freshman year was AWFUL. I mean AWFUL. My unweighted was 3.18 and weighted was like 3.25 and then sophmore year was 3.45 UW and 3.8 W, and then junior year was 3.9 W, and 3.5 UW so that is major improvement right there. Freshman year ruined me and Im still angry to this day about it.</p>

<p>Look up the Common Data Set for each of your schools. Section C states what weight each element gets in admission and they have average stats after that.</p>
