So I am a junior right now and I was wondering what my chances are for these schools:

Umass Amherst computer science program
Northeastern computer science or engineering

My grades are all Bs and my GPA is a 3.71/4.25, I know my school is a bit weird

So what are my chances?

There is no way to know based on this information. If anyone can guess they are wrong. You didn’t even give scores.

Is your gpa weighted or unweighted?

Yes, more info is needed - SAT/ACT to begin with, what kind of courses are you taking junior year, etc.

My gpa weighted, and SAT score is a 2060- 740 math, 660 reading, 660 writing

Right now I am taking BC calc, honors physics, honors history, French and English.

Hard to tell without knowing your unweighted GPA and ECs but would say that you are a good candidate for U Mass. Your GPA is a bit low for NE.

9th grade:
Biology honors: c+
French honors: B+
History honors: B-
English: B+
Geometry honors: B+
Algebra 2 honors: B

10th grade:
Precalc honors: B+
French honors: B-
History: B+
Chemistry Honors: B-
HTML design: A+
English honors: B-

11th grade: (so far)
History honors: B+
C++ programming Honors: B+
BC calculus: B+
Physics Honors: B
English: B+
French: B+

But u have to take into consideration that my GPA is out of 4.25. Not 5.

But would I get into the com sci program?

The mean high school GPA for Northeastern is 3.7/4.0, so your GPA is rather low for that school. Your SAT is average for Northeastern.

You should be able to get admitted to UMass.

Your unweighted GPA is 3.1 using scale from College Board [How to Convert Your GPA to a 4.0 Scale](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>How to Convert (Calculate) Your GPA to a 4.0 Scale – BigFuture)
There is not much to do about your grades but at this point perhaps you can up your SAT scores, write good essays, and perhaps some great ECs for the summer.
You definitely seem to have a knack for HTML and C++. Play that up.
Good luck!
