Can I get into these schools?

I'd really like some assurance as I'm filling out the applications! (I'll try to make this as brief as possible)

I go to the 2nd ranked school in our state according to U.S. News and World Reports (we used to be the 1st in our state). It is a rigorous magnet school for health sciences and engineering.

Every course I've taken is honors or AP since freshman year (besides band, PE, and wellness). My AP courses taken/taking are French, English, U.S. History, Statistics, Music Theory, Microeconomics, and Government.

My GPA is 95.964 (96) unweighted. Our school doesn't do class rankings.

My ACT score (the test I've chosen to submit) is a 30 (composite). My subscores are a 33, 32, 32, 28, and 26 in English, writing, reading, math, and science (respectively)

Academic Honors:
National Beta Club
National Honors Society

Randolph College Book Award
AP Scholar

Club/Organizations/Activities:

Project India Club (founder)
Youth Health Advisory Board
American Red Cross, HS Chapter

Academic Accomplishments:
Teacher's Choice Award (for AP French)
Writer's Showcase Honorable Mention (for a piece of writing I submitted)
National History Day (2nd place), regional level

Athletics:
Varsity tennis team, 1st string

Musical Accomplishments:
Principal saxophone player in our school's Wind Ensemble
1st chair in county band 2 yrs in a row
1st chair, 3rd band for all-region band 2009
3rd chair, 1st band for all-region band 2010 (which placed me as 1st alternate for all-state)
Superior ratings four years in a row at Solo/Ensemble Festival
Played with the U.S. Army Band for a concert

Volunteer Service:
volunteer at a daycare weekly
french tutor
(along with service activities in Beta, National Honors, French Honors)

I also wrote what my English teacher claimed was an amazing essay for the common application essay and I am very confident that my teachers will write good recommendations for me.

These are the colleges I'm applying to:

Furman
Clemson
Mercer
Emory
Wake Forest
Davidson
Duke
UNC
Vanderbilt
Northwestern
Johns Hopkins

If you have an idea if I can get into any of these schools, could you please assure me?

Thank you!

bump…
I’ll chance back if you chance me

NU should be a match/low reach. My sister got in with almost the same GPA(4.0) 4 years ago except she had a lower ACT(27) and you have more impressive EC’s. Can you chance me for UW? I’ve had 100+ views and only one reply.

Thanks cubbiefan!

I think that you should be into all the colleges but jhu Emory northwestern duke and vandy will be slight reaches but I think you will get into at least one of those. Goodluck and can you please chance back on one of my threads.

Mercer should be a given. I think you have a great chance at Furman, Clemson, and Wakeforest. Other then those, if you could get your ACT up a bit they would be better.

Bump…I’d really like some chancing on the more prestigious schools as well.

mmm ive never done the ACT in my life , nor do i know anything abt them ! did u do the SATs by any chance ??

I did, but I didn’t do well on it. According to an ACT-SAT conversion chart, my ACT score of a 30 would be equivalent to a 2030 or so (I’ve seen some say it is higher), and is in the 98th percentile of scores.
