<p>Female from NY, currently a junior, 3.3 uw gpa 3.7 weighted 1500 sat score..only 2 years of foreign language.. not good at math or science..did horrible sophmore year and recieved a D in both science and math. I will be taking chem as a senior. Ive done a few things for community service (Healthcare Internship Program, Helping kids with special needs, 1 year of track, several clubs, etc). Also my math teacher and english teacher both wrote good reccomendation letters for me. Even though my gpa isnt soo good and i received poor grades in past years and colleges can see i'm not a good math or science student, do i still have a chance at getting into towson? I want to either study physchology or go into journalism.

<p>I think you will have a hard time w Towson with that score; but you will be fine for Tampa (and prob URI)…</p>
<p>fwiw, not sure how your GPA is so high w two D’s in major subjects…that may hurt you if your school includes the electives in your GPA; most schools only use the 5 major courses to calculate GPA…</p>
