Can I get into UC Berkely?

My unweighted GPA is a 4.1, my SAT is a 1550, my ACT is a 36, I’m out of state. I’m captain of The Speech team at my school and I have 250+ hours of volunteer hours.

I’d like to think that people would want more information before chancing you. What do you want to major in? What are your AP or SAT II Subject test scores? Information such as these would go a long way in helping people to determine your chances at getting in.

Make sure when you write your statement of intent, you spell Berkeley correctly…

Was just going to say the same thing, @UpMagic

As an OOS applicant can you afford to be full pay? No financial aid for OOS students. What is your UC GPA?

As an OOS applicant, only AP/IB or DE courses taken 10-11th count for the UC GPA. Berkeley considers the capped weighted and fully weighted GPA.

OOS students get litle to no financial aid so expect full fees at $65K/year.
Intended major can make a difference on your chances.

How can your unweighted GPA be above 4? If your school has a different grading system you need to scale things back to a 4. Or better yet, use the calculator as posted above tonfind your UC GPA.
