Can I get into UC Davis Biology?

I intend to major in either Biology or Biotechnology, what are the chances that I’ll make it?

3.62 UC GPA (Out of my four years, my soph year was worst)
Sat 1: 2000
Sat 2: 770 Bio, 650 History
14-16 courses more than 35 min (depending on whether summer college courses count as 1 or 2 semesters)
100hrs community service at hospital (davis doesn’t seem to count this)
Confident in my background in biotech:
180 hr biotechnology internship, independent research project this year (preceded by 2 years of classroom study)
2 years of athletics (volleyball and track) but couldn’t continue because of injury
7 years piano, 1 year choir
1 year class council leadership
CA resident

I don't give chances, since I don't know a thing about it, but what I do know is that all CC courses count as 1 weighted semester or 1 semester of a-g.

It wont matter. Biology isnt impacted at UCD

Low reach/Match

I disagree with pinkfeather, your ECs and SATs are very impressive, and your GPA is solid. If your personal statements reflect your motivation and interest in Biotechnology, I'd say you have a high chance of being accepted.

Yeah... low match

In, don't sweat it.

Looks pretty good, the 650 might hurt a bit, though
