Can i get into UC Riverside?

Hi, i currently go to San Marino High School and it's supposingly a top rated school in Southern California but it's also really competitive with all the asian students (i'm asian to). I'm really worried about applying to UCs because my gpa isnt that high. Do u think i'd be able to get into UC Riverside with these stats?

3.15 UW gpa
(currently taking Calculus which is 1/8 AP classes offered at my school)
2000 SAT1 (740 math, 660 writing, 600 verbal)
SAT2s, 700 SAT Math2c, 650 Chinese

ECs,
9th grade Cross Country
9-10th Swim
10-11th Water Polo
9-12 Orchestra
Red Cross Club member
Level 9 Piano
100 Service hours

from 1st Sem Sophomore to 2nd Sem Junior my gpa goes like this:
3.45 -> 3.0 -> 2.92 -> 3.3

Anyways, my grades went down because i broke my right wrist and i could hardly write for 2 months and i also wrecked my new car in a month (made me sad =().

^bump

help please =[

UCR: Safe Match

Don't worry about it, you're in. You don't even need the broken arm excuse. Your GPA isn't fabulous but it doesn't really have to be for UCR. Your SAT is way above their median.

thanks a lot =)

I think you will get in as well. I might even cya there considering i am in a similar position. except in my case, the difference is even more extreme...haha go 2.75 gpa :P

you should bring it up cuz UC minimum GPA requirement is 2.8.

anyway, what are my chances at

Cal Poly Pomona
Cal Poly SLO
UCSC
UCI
UCM

thanks

someone please reply, thanks.

UCI: Match
UCSC/UCRM: Safe Match

any more suggestions?

you'll make UCR easily
everyone makes UCR
those stats are definitely good enough

most definitely look into some reach UC schools
reach UC schools with those stats would probably be like ucsd, maybe even uci, though i think uci falls between a reach and match school for you

san marino high school is among the best public schools in the state. you are likely to be accepted into both cal poly campuses and at least the bottom three of the UC system, riverside, merced and santa cruz. among that group the two cal polys are good choices given that their tuition costs are about half as much.
