My overall weighted GPA is a 3.5, I took the SAT for the first time earlier this month and got a 1460 on all three sections (I'm going to take it again) I am still waiting on my ACT scores and AP exam scores. I've taken 4 AP classes between sophomore and junior year and am taking 4 senior year, which would be a total of 8 AP classes all throughout high school. I am an active member in six different clubs, one of which I co-founded. I have a part time job at a restaurant and have done 2 years of track and field and one year of cross country. So based on the stats I have listed, which colleges should I apply to? By the way I a live in California (San Diego) and want to be a biology major.

Calculate your UC GPA (weighted) see link: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;
Your SAT posted is low for the UC’s and hopefully it improves by 300 points or so.
UCR: Match
UCSC: High Match
UCD/UCI: Low Reach
Majority of the UC’s average GPA for in-coming freshman is a 4.0+ and SAT of 1900. Biology is very competitive at UCD and UCI especially.
I would consider several Cal States such as SDSU/CSULB/CPP.

By the way I just got my ACT score, My composite score is 22. I’m retaking it anyway.

I agree with the matches above. Try scoring better on the ACT and SAT. If you bring those scores up, you will have a much better chance! Great job with all of your extracurriculars!

Thank You :)
