UCLA is a reach school for everyone, so you should never expect an acceptance, but that’s just my opinion.

If you want to see your chances go to Parchment, it’s really accurate to be honest.

Yes, you have a decent chance at UCLA. As you noted yourself, your GPA is a tad low for UCLA but holistically you have a fairly compelling application. I’m concerned that your extracurricular seem more like a laundry list with little leadership but it’ll be up to you to emphasize what you actually show them.

If you look on the UCLA admission website you can find out how they select applicants to the school of letters and science, which is where the linguistics major is. That will answer your question about the chances of being accepted into the linguistics major.
