What I'm scared about is my sophomore 1st semester. I got almost all my bs in that semester and also I got that c. This c is really making me mad- I'm thinking of retaking it, but its an online class so the c still stays on my transcript but the online class is also a regulars class so i would be basically lowering my standards ( Can you give me an advice about this too?)

Subject SAT hoping to take on Math 1, Us history, and Korean.

I hope to become a Registered Nurse and/or Nutritionist.
So do I have a chance in getting accepted?
Also I'm sort of a 1st generation, 1.5th? I came here when I was 8 and I am now 17.
And If not, what can I do to improve my chance in getting accepted?
Please help me and please be honest! I can take it! ( I HOPE!)

Hmm… what was your scores for the math and verbal part of the sat ? your gpa ? class rank ? you need to include those before we chance you lol. But you seem like a strong candidate for that school =)

Oh wait im sorry your a junior so you didn’t do class ranks or gpas yet, so nvm about that, next year you’ll find those out and then you can have more of an idea for your chances to get in there but based on the stats you posted you seem like a DEDICATED student, with all the tough coarses you’ve taken, I would say you have a good chance, like a high match for UCLA.

UCLA: High match

Do you have a safety?

Well at my school, they start giving out ranks from when they are sophomores. So out of 521 juniors in my school, I am 16th.
Also for sat, math I got 710, Grammar 720 and Critical reading… Oh man… a poor, poor score of 590.
Thank you!

Catria:
Well I was thinking along the lines of UCI and Cal State Long Beach and Cal State Fullerton.
And I’m on the lookout for any other colleges in Southern California that have a good Nursing/nutrition program, even privates. But I have yet to find any…

Your race does not matter at UCLA. With a 2020, I would say UCLA is a high match. It is a match with a 2200.

how about USC? if you are a NMF, you get 1/2 off of the tuition.

What is NMF?
And i heard that there is no nursing program in USC?

bump
How about my C? will it matter? or should i take an online class even though the C still stays on my transcript, the grade I get on my online class will be stated below.

I think it is a low match. Solely because of the high competition. You are a strong applicant but pretty standard test scores and course load compared to other applicants.

Chance back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1471006-georgetown-notre-dame-gw-bc-nyu.html#post15592210

Sorry, I’m new…
So how does this low, high match work?
When its high match does that mean I’m pretty qualified and low match not qualified?
Yeah a confused person here…

Low match means that it in between a match and safety. A high match is between a match and reach. Also, you math1 score needs to improve. To tell u the cold truth, u shouldn’t be taking that because it’s too easy colleges won’t think much of it. I would say that your a reach because you don’t have good ec’s. Having many extracurriculars isn’t as impressive as having a few ecs that contain leadership. Good luck

Things to remember

 1. The deadline for UC schools is November 30
 2. Last SAT date for UC schools is November
 3. UC schools do not superscore.
 4. You will have an easier time getting in if you’re in-state (Californian).

Best of luck! I will be praying for you.

Well, if you make 2200 then it’s a match. Otherwise, a high match.

Try UCB and USC too. Both in the same tier, you might get into one of the 3.

UCLA: In with 2100+ SAT

But I heard that there are no Nursing programs in USC?

And what can I do now to get into UCLA?
Volunteer more, get leadership positions, get a higher SAT score, and get good grades?

Bump Bump Bump

Is it the thing ********? You need to pay to make an account.

Do I have a chance??
