I Have a 3.1 GPA
My SAT's were a 1710: 500 CR, 600 Math, 610 Writing
I am African-American. Middle-Income family.
I have taken accelerated high school courses my entire HS career. 4 AP classes, 4 years of language, as well.
I am a 4 year basketball athlete, 3 years on varsity. 1 year track and 3 year Volleyball athlete.
I have been my class president since sophomore year (3 year class officer). And I am in a club called "Cool Kids and Heroes"
I have over 50 hours community service and over 300 working/labor hours.
What are my chances? I really would like to get into UCONN</p>
<p>Your athletics and extra curriculars are great but your GPA is low… My friend fwith a 3.2 got rejected, as did a friend with a 3.5, but my school also had many many applicants to UCONN (i live in MA)… But GPA isn’t everything so I’d say it was possible. You should consider sending in a letter expressing how UCONN is your top choice.</p>
