Can I get into UCSD?

<p>To be honest, I really don't know what I want to major in yet, but so far im leaning more towards the business major.I want to know if I have a chance at UCSD and what I can do to boost my chances at getting into the school.</p>

-Weighted grades: I don't know, my school doesn't weight grades

Writing: 740</p>

<p>Going to take SAT II US history and possibly biology</p>

<p>Currently taking: AP Biology, AP Studio Art, AP US History, AP Psych</p>

Won Bronze in Spring race but double gold in summer race.</p>

<p>Your ECs look good, SAT could probably go up with practice and a few attempts. The GPA doesn’t look competitive though you need to find out how to weight it appropriately. Go here and find your school. It will list all the UC recognized courses. Each AP or Honors course will be flagged in the Honors Type column.

<p>Keep in mind that UCSD doesn’t offer a straight business major. I think the closest thing they have is an econ major. I could be wrong, but you might want to check their list of majors.</p>
